Christmas morning, we put poor Benjamin in this outfit - he'll kill us in a few years when he sees this, but he was so cute!! Of course, he wasn't really into opening gifts, but it was still fun.
This is the animal train that Santa brought
And here he is having his Christmas dinner. I think he likes turkey!

Christmas in Miramichi.......part 2
Later in the day, we went to Betty and Joe's for a visit. Here's a picture of their almost 30 pound turkey, we had to get a picture side by side cause Ben's almost as heavy!! Betty had 6 for Christmas dinner, and there wasn't even a dent in the breast and leg on the other side. All kids like boxes, right? Here's Ben in the box his new wagon came in
and here's his new wagon. It's pretty cool, wheels can be switched to skis
so it can be used year round.
so it can be used year round.
All in all, it was a wonderful Christmas, though pretty quiet. Joey and Kelly came for a short visit Christmas night, and we visited Gramps the next day. New Years Eve was great too, thanks again to Darcy, Melissa and Mitch for watching Ben, we had our first night out "since Ben". I'm sure Ben had fun, and it was nice to visit with friends...Happy New Year!
Christmas in McAdam
I know, i'm always slow about doing posts, but i'll make up for it today.
Ben had his picture taken December 10th with Santa, he wasn't too impressed!! This was taken about 2 seconds before he started crying!
We went to McAdam to spend a few days with my family on December 13th, Mom and Dad found a big difference in him, especially with him walking now~ they hadn't seen him since the baptism. Here's my Mom and Ben in front of their christmas tree, waving to the camera.
I think there's no better feeling than when a baby falls asleep on you, and he looks so peaceful here with Grammie!
It's always play time with Poppie, here's a picture of them together in St Andrews.
We stopped for a visit with Great Grammie and Great Grampie in St. Stephen, they got quite a kick out of him.
Okay, this blog is really starting to bother me. I can't add any more pictures here, so this entry will have a couple of different parts. Stay tuned..........

Christmas in McAdam..........part 2
Great Grampie Richardson in St. Stephen had a hard time hanging onto Ben, after so long in the car he was just full of energy. After St. Stephen, we went to St. Andrews to visit my mom's mom, she'll be 97 in February, and is in remarkable shape. Of course Ben was talking a mile a minute (his own language), and she thought he was just adorable.
In the manor where Grammie lives, for some reason they have these 2 huge stuffed animals, way bigger than Ben, and he kept going for their noses!!
After a very long (but wonderful day) christmas shopping and visiting everyone, we finally made it back to McAdam. I always look forward to our trips there, but they're always so exhausting, with so much travelling. Saturday was pretty much just relaxing, and here's a picture of Ben in Poppy's first rocking chair. A perfect fit!!

Christmas in McAdam..................last part!
This blog is really giving me problems today, I've had to add 1 picture at a time, and no more than 5 per post. I thought beta was better?!
Here's one more pic of ben opening his toys in McAdam, notice the bow on his head? Talk about excited when he opened these blocks!! He was screeching and banging on them, but by the time I got the camera and started a video, he pretty much was done. He loves playing with them though, Jody will build a big tower with them and Ben can't wait to knock it down, screeching all the while! On our way back home, we wanted to stop in at my sister's in Penniac, to see them all. Unfortunately Bill wasn't there, but we had a good visit with Ang, Andrew, Sam, and Allan and Hunter, Andrew's two boys. Unfortunately i didn't get a picture of them though........
Here's Aunt Angie giving Ben his supper.

And finally a picture of Sam cuddling with Ben. A smile with no teeth, but that'll change soon, she gets her braces off this month. Yippeee!!!!!!
Somehow, we didn't get a picture of Andrew either, but that's really no surprise. He never seems to be around when the camera comes out...............
All in all, a wonderful trip to McAdam and areas, it was great to see everyone. Even with all the travelling, Ben didn't lose his sunny disposition (thank goodness!) and we can't wait to see everyone again real soon!
